You install Win98 on a modern processor system, it will run the CPU at 100% all the time, becuase the OS isn't aware of the instruction to idle the CPU, and you'll have a HOT running system. Another thing to mention, is that Windows 98 does NOT support multiple processors or hyperthreading, so if you use a C2D or C2Q/Phenom, you will only be using one core.
