Can't get much clearer than that!! Must be a different numbering system for French builds. I assume it's an 8 speed as well? Hello, I'm new around here. Lucian Cojocaru Vrei Si Bani Vrei Si Iubire. I have a 1961 MF35, and what I believe is an early '80s MF 40B Industrial Tractor-Loader-Backhoe. I'm looking at an ad for another tractor that I might want to buy for parts.
The owner posted the serial number, but doesn't seem sure about the model number. It would be nice to research the serial number to figure out what exactly it is before taking a long drive to look at it. I have not had much luck finding an online list of serial numbers with corresponding production dates.
Is there a reason why this information is 'secret'? Is there such a reference available online somewhere? Is there anyone out there who has access to such information and would be willing to publish it?
