The big red outage is when I disconnected things to try rewiring cable and connecting ONLY the cable modem to the incoming cable feed. So that does not count as a outage. I have plots from before getting the Cisco DPC 3000 and DOCSIS 3 with no red at all for a month. This also shows the normal daily increases in latency caused by demand on the cable co system. Pinging to the modem shows the issues clearly, in this case every bit of red is a reboot/hang/outage. It also shows WEIRD increases in ping response time possibly caused by CPU utilization ( caught in a loop cuz of broke firmware ). I also think that 1 ms is kinda a long time to return a ping for a device with 3 foot of wire between me and my computer.
